Reverend Ira B. “Red” Sherrell, 83, of Tanner, Alabama, died Monday, June 23, 2014, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Visitation was Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at McConnell Funeral Home from 5-6:45 p.m. The funeral was Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at McConnell Memorial Chapel at 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Welti Cemetery in Cullman, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Limestone County or Devita Dialysis Center.
