LAUDERDALE COUNTY – Sheriff Rick Singleton tells the Quad-Cities Daily that the investigation into last night’s shooting hasn’t yet yielded any results. The gunshot victims, on in Huntsville Hospital and the other at Vanderbilt medical Center have not been able to offer much help in the investigation. They offered limited information as to the shooter’s identification.
St. Florian Police, who are taking the lead, have not been available for comment.
The shootings occurred Wednesday night after 10 o’clock. Sheriff Singleton says that it is likely these people knew each other and were involved in an argument that got out of hand. It happened on Saltzburg Lane off County Road 30.
As of this time, the shooting suspect has not been found, although police say they are pretty sure who their target is.
