FLORENCE-It’s time to select your sweets and goodies from the June 29 Chloe’s Fund INDE”PAW”DENCE DAY BAKE SALE! Fresh baked confections made from the devoted hands of our Chloe’s Fund volunteer bakers; take your pick – Cookies, Cakes, Pies, Tarts, Pudding, Cupcakes and Fresh Bread. 100% of the money raised from the bake sale provides emergency medical care funds for animals at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. The bake sale is Saturday, June 29 from 10am to 1pm at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence, AL.
Quantities are limited. It’s best to pre-order our menu items by Tuesday, June 25 at 5pm – you can find the menus as of June 18 on the following Facebook pages; Chloe’s Fund for Medical Needs of Florence Shelter Animals and Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. If you haven’t had a chance to pre-order, our volunteers are always inspired and may have baked more than ordered.
Chloe’s Fund was started in March of 2017 after shelter volunteers, Glen and Debby Nelson lost their beloved dog of 16 years, Chloe. After Chloe’s passing, the Nelsons and several of their friends set out on a mission to help as many sick and injured Florence Lauderdale Animal Services animals as possible. Since its inception, Chloe’s Fund vetted and saved the lives of more than 600 animals suffering from various illnesses in need of medical attention.
