In Celebration Of The 80th Birthday of Elvis Presley Two Short Plays “Graceland” and “Asleep On The Wind”

graceland asleep on the windFLORENCE-In celebration of the 80th birthday of the King of Rock N’ Roll, Elvis Presley Big River Broadcasting presents two short plays “Graceland and Asleep on the Wind”.  This presentation will be held at the Zodiac Theatre in Florence on January 8 through the 10th at 7:30 pm and on the 10th at 2:00pm.

The plays : An affecting and ingeniously conceived family drama which takes place on two levels of reality: the present day lives of an estranged wife and her aged, ailing mother (Graceland); and the haunting, evocative events of the past which arise from the mother’s fervid memory (Asleep on the Wind).  These two short plays are written by Ellen Byron.  The plays will feature Jennifer Steen Kilpatrick, Chrisite Connolly , Ella Mann and Forrest Harlan with special guest Mike Adams as Elvis.
