Imogene Valentine Bulliner Fitts age 94, passed away Monday morning, July 19, 2021 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born February 14, 1927 in Chester County, the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Elizabeth Wamble Bulliner. She grew up in Chester County. She married Charles “Jack” Fitts on Sept. 15, 1946. They made their home in Henderson. Jack preceded her in death on December 12, 2018 after seventy-two years of marriage. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Henderson.
She was a homemaker but also served as a school secretary at Chester County Elementary School.
Mrs. Fitts is survived by a daughter, Candice Kay Grant of Henderson; one grandson, Peyton Frank and three great grandchildren, Sydney Frank, Hannah Frank and Elliot Frank.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles R. “Jack” Fitts, three brothers, Howard Bulliner, Dewayne Bulliner and Jack Bulliner and a sister, Martha Parrish.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 24th at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue. Burial will follow in Henderson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM service time Saturday.
