Imogene Thrasher – Obituary

Imogene Thrasher, 81, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Tuesday, November 05, 2013, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She was a lifelong member of Burnsville Tabernacle. She loved her church, reading her Bible daily, and spending time doing yard work. She won “Yard of the Month” on several different occasions. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Wednesday, November 6 at Burnsville Tabernacle. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Burnsville Tabernacle, officiated by Bro. Gene Cartharp. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sons – Jackie Thrasher (Jennifer) of Belmont and Ronnie Thrasher (Dawn) of Nashville, TN; 1 brother – Kenneth Spoon (Juanita) of Burnsville; 1 sister – Hester Newcomb of Burnsville; 5 grandchildren – Kristi Belue (Sammy), Cassie Jones (Tim), Amber Buckles (Brad), Rusty Thrasher (Summer), and Tyler Thrasher; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doskie Spoon; her husband, Grady Thrasher; her sisters – Elease Epperson and Virginia Newcomb; and her brother, Clifford Spoon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Burnsville Tabernacle or to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
