Imogene Juanita Miller Roberts – Obituary

Imogene Juanita Miller Roberts, age 81 passed away April 10, 2017 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

She was born May 19, 1935 in White Hall, AR the daughter of the late Claude Lee and Ruby Ada Miller. She graduated from high school in Arkansas and married Walter Freeman Roberts. They lived in various places while Mr. Roberts served in the U.S. Navy. While they lived in the Memphis area she worked as a bookkeeper in the department of recreation in the Millington Naval Base. Mr. Roberts died in 2011.

She moved to Henderson in 2012 to make her home with her son Mike. Mrs. Roberts was a member of the Estes Church of Christ.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by a son, Mike Roberts of Henderson; three grandchildren, Lisa Miller, James Quick and Justin Roberts; five great grandchildren and a sister, Claudene Silkwood of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Melinda Quick in 2012, a sister, Geralene Parker and a brother, C. L. Miller.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery, 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington, TN 38053 with Frank Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Shackelford – Casey Chapel from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday.
