Imogene Jenkins Oswalt Hill was born November 2, 1939, in Cullman County, Alabama to Eugene C. Jenkins and Florence Vest Jenkins.

Imogene focused her life on family and loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren tremendously.

She was preceded in death by her son, Darrell Lynn Oswalt; five sisters, Hythen Watson, Marie Wilson, Mary Sue Jenkins, Shirley Alvis, and Nancy McCollum; two brothers, James P Jenkins, and Douglas Jenkins.

Imogene was survived by her son, Johnny Oswalt (Lee) of Ecru; daughter, Sandra Oswalt Harlow (Randy) of Nettleton; six grandchildren, Randol Harlow, Bobby Oswalt, Shawn Oswalt, Andrea Harlow Mason, Zacary Oswalt, and Morgan Oswalt; five great-grandchildren, Kara Gibson, Blayze Oswalt, Sara Oswalt, Sadie Harlow, and John John Oswalt; brother-in-law, James Hulon Oswalt (Gale) of Shannon; special childhood friend, Shirley Armstrong; along with a host of nieces and nephews; church family; and friends.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. until service time on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Pegues, Tupelo.

Services to celebrate Imogene’s life will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2024, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Bro. Paul Beam and Bro. Mark Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Doty Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rondol Harlow, Bobby Oswalt, Blayze Oswalt, Zacary Oswalt, Shane Mason, and Joey Davis.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Reynolds and Freddie Moehring.
