Imogene Davis  age 88 of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at her residence.

Born November 15, 1930 in Sulligent, AL, the Pine Springs Community, she is the Daughter of the late Lee Roy and Lillian Gladice Crump Turman and the Wife of the late James D. Davis. She had lived in Birmingham for 42 years where she worked with Bell South for 33 years and 7 months before retiring and moving back to the Pine Springs Community in 1992. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, the Women’s Junior Chamber of Commerce, Soroptimist International of Birmingham, the 78 West Business and Professional Women and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was also a member of the Pine Springs Methodist Church and an avid Alabama Fan.

She is survived by a Brother, Ralph (Margaret) Turman of Sulligent, AL and several Nieces and Nephews and was a care giver to her Nephew Harry Scott.

She was also preceded in death by 3 Sisters, Ruby Gray Turman, Annie Chloe Scott, and Gladys Spradling and 3 Brothers, Roy Lybrand Turman and Carl Jay Turman and an infant brother.

Services held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mitch Nethery and Bro. Randy Raper officiating. Burial in the Pine Springs Cemetery.

Visitation Friday 1 – 2 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pine Springs Cemetery Fund.
