Ima Jean Chandler Herston, 84, of Killen, passed away December 6, 2023, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a homemaker, a Jaycee, a founding member of Rogers Stadium Club and a member of Greenhill United Methodist Church. Survivors include: Sons: Darrin Wade Herston (Shannon) & David Brian Herston (Donna) Daughter: Donna Herston Borden (Ronnie) Brothers: Bobby Jo Chandler (Barbara) & Leonard Clay Chandler (Pat) Sister: Linda McGee (Larry) Sisters-in-law: Jo Briggs & Lynda Sue Chandler Grandchildren: Heath Borden (Jill), Hayley Davenport (Kory), A.J. Herston, Robert Herston (Ariele), Graham Herston (Mackenzy), Anne Walton Mathis (Cole), Griffin Herston, Garrison Wylie & Donovan Wylie (10) Great grandchildren Preceded in death by: Husband: James Donald “Don” Herston Parents: Robert Floyd Chandler & Vera Taylor Chandler Brother: Dennis Chandler Visitation will be on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 12:30 – 1:45pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm, at Greenhill Cemetery, with Brian Smith officiating. Burial will be at Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Heath Borden, A.J. Herston, Robert Herston, Graham Herston, Griffin Herston, Cole Mathis & Kory Davenport. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to: St. Jude’s or Greenhill United Methodist Church Building Fund.
