Ilene Fincher, born August 29, 1936, relocated from her family on earth and entered Heaven’s Gates on Sunday, July 22, 2012, and has been reunited with her mother, father, sister and son. She was a resident of Rogersville, Ala.
Her life revolved around the love she had for her family. She loved to cook and always made sure each one had their favorite. She touched each and every life of those who knew her either through her smile, her helping hands or her unselfish ways.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband, Bill; children, Bob and Cathy; loving and devoted sister, Opal (Horace); grandchildren, Eric, Angela, Rob, Shannon and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kaitlin, Kaeden and Maya; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
We will miss you desperately, but await the great reunion.
Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Thursday at Rogersville Funeral Home and the funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel.
