Ila Mitchell Skidmore, 88, of Muscle Shoals, formerly of Russellville, Ala., passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Glenwood Nursing Home, Florence, Ala.
Mrs. Skidmore was a native of Texas but had lived most of her life in Franklin County, Ala. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Russellville, and was retired from Bell South with over 30 years of service.
The funeral service will be Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Bert Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Creek Cemetery, Russellville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 1 until 2 p.m.
Survivors include sister-in-law, Jimmie Lou Reynolds, Russellville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Skidmore.
Pinkard Funeral Home will be directing.
