Ila Jean Moebes, 91, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023. Her visitation will be on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Roselawn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM at Decatur City Cemetery with Chris Martin officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Reese (Gene); grandsons, Marty (Mary) and Joseph Hyde (Brittany), 5 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Ernest Gilbert Moebes; daughter, Suzette Lee; granddaughter, Gayla Reese and brother, Buddy Long.
Serving as pallbearers will be Gene Reese, Marty Reese, Wilder Reese, Jamie Cooper, Calvin Cathcart and John Stallions.
Memorial gifts may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church or The Gideon International.
