Hyang RosaRosario – Obituary

Hyang RosaRosario was born on December 30, 1952 in Busan, South Korea to Yu Sung Ho and Kim Bong Soon and is the second of seven children.  Hyang was the widow of late husband Miguel Rosa Rosario, a Korean and Vietnam war veteran.  Hyang is survived by her daughter Mia Valenzuela and husband Martin Valenzuela, grandson Alexander Miguel Valenzuela, and Hyang’s five sisters and brother.  Hyang lived a great number of her life in Uijeongbu, South Korea, as her husband served on active duty military assigned to 2nd Infantry Division and later retired.  They raised their daughter Mia in Uijeongbu and later moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado as Mia was serving as a Captain in the United States Army on Fort Carson, Colorado.  Hyang later moved to Madison, Alabama in 2014, with her daughter until she passed away on October, 10, 2018.

Hyang was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that have known her as she always lived life to the fullest without regrets, loved unconditionally and sacrificed so that no one ever went without.

The Memorial Service of Hyang will take place from 2 – 3 PM on Saturday October 13, 2018, at Legacy Chapel, 16 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL, 35758.
