Hughie Walls, Jr. passed away at his home in Jackson, TN on February 5, 2021

Hughie was born on December 27, 1943 in Artesia, New Mexico to the late Hughie Daniel Walls and the late Minnie Ellen Williams. Mr. Walls was a retired diesel mechanic, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Hughie loved nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, and fishing. He was never more proud when one of his grandkids showed him up with a trophy deer or catfish. He would brag to his group coffee buddies at Hardee’s about everything they did.

Mr. Walls was preceded in death by his two brothers, Dale Walls and Tommy Walls.

Survivors include his children, Hope (Brice) and Joe (Brandi); grandchildren, Paige Kelsey, and Finley Meeks and Desiree Gonzales, Detrick Gomez, Phoebe Heikes, and Cami Walls. He also leaves behind two sisters, Judy Good (James) and Pam Lewis (Danny). He was also an Uncle Junior to an abundance of nieces and nephews that he loved.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Ebenezer Cemetery in Malesus.
