Huey Dee Johnson, 82, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born January 15, 1942 to the late Alford Johnson and the late Lola Jamerson Johnson in Itawamba County. He retired from Mueller Industries after 27 years of service. Huey enjoyed being outdoors, go cart racing, being on his tractors, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a member of First Independent Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge 457.
Services will be at 3:30 pm on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Toby Mears, and Bro. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will be in Burntfields Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Tuesday August 13, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In addition to his wife of 61 years, Marie Johnson, he is survived by his daughter, Kathy Dean of Fulton; son, Kenneth (Tina) Johnson of Fulton; grandchildren, Brittany (Ryan) Lawrence, Chris Dean, Anthony (Elizabeth) McDonald, Chelsey (Greg) Miller, and Matthew Johnson; six great grandchildren; brothers, James H. (Ginger) Johnson of Searcy, AR, and Doyle (Linda) Johnson of Golden; and sister in laws, Sue Johnson of Golden, and Lorraine Johnson of CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alford and Lola Johnson; brothers, Bo Johnson, and Dan Johnson, and sister, Jimmie Nell Barnes.
Pallbearers will be Steven Gillespie, Mark Williams, Jason Williams, Heath Strickland, Ryan Lawrence, and Tommy Graham.
