Funeral for Hubert White, 67, of Hillsboro will be Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Mount View Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Wallace and Rev. Roger Boswell officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mr. White, who died Friday, Sept 9, 2016, was born July 7, 1949, to James Homer White and Nellie Ragan White. He worked at New Image Salon for 20 years. He was a self-taught pianist, lead music and loved singing. He also enjoyed cooking. He was preceded in death by his son, Micah White and his parents.
Survivors include one son, Heath (Brenna) White; two sisters, Anna Goode and Ira (Poodle) Gray; and six grandchildren, Killian Berry, Colin Berry, Kierin White, Emma White, Myla White and Kiley Hicks.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
