Hubert Hilton Joiner of Meridianville, Alabama passed away on January 25, 2024. He was born in West Bainbridge, GA on December 2, 1934. He was raised in Americus, GA and attended Auburn University where he earned a BS degree in civil engineering. After serving two years in the US Navy, he joined the GA Department of Transportation where he had a career as a highway construction engineer. He finished his career as a vice president of Pittman Construction Company in Atlanta.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurie and Agnes Joiner and brother Ronnie Edwin Joiner. He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Judy, son Ronnie (Susan) of Auburn, GA, daughters Julie (Mike) Peacock of Merritt Island, FL, and Laurie (Ron Bowman) of Toney, Al and grandsons Thomas and David who attend his alma mater.
