Hubert C. Frost Hubert Clayton Frost, age 86 of Foley, formerly of Dora, went to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday November 20, 2024, at his residence.
Hubert was born on May 11th, 1938, to parents Archie & Frances Frost in Corona, AL. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Vietnam War.
Hubert or as he was fondly called by family, ‘Pops’ was a passionate gardener. You could always find him outside tending to his garden which often got him in trouble in his later years. In 2016, he discovered a love of reading. This became a solace for him after his wife passed away and he would read about seven Western books a week. He loved all animals, but his passion was horses and cows. He was a light to all who had the opportunity to meet him, you can still see his touches around the neighborhood with handcrafted birdhouses.
Funeral service will be Saturday November 30th, 2024, at 1:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial chapel. Joyce Easterling will officiate. Burial to follow in the New Horizon Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 12:00 pm Saturday.
