Funeral service for Hoyt Long, 88, will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Long officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Long died on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born February 9, 1929, in Morgan County to Charlie Walter Long and Thenia (King) Long. He formerly worked for Merita Bread Company for 20 years and then went to work for Peck Funeral Home as a Funeral Director and worked there until he retired. Hoyt was loved and respected by all. He was always willing to help anyone and that is how he will always be remembered. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Johnie Doris Long, parents, and siblings: L.D. Long, Guy Long, Ferrell Long, Ruby Hill, Daisy Harris, Faye Harris, Thelma Terry, Charles Long, Bobby Long, Billy Long.

Three Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Long, Bobby Long, Dale Bibb, Phillip Harrison, Steve Parker and Jeff Griffin.
