FLORENCE-On Saturday, October 28 from 2-4 pm, Highland Baptist Church in Florence will host Howloween, a fall festival for kids and families as well as pets and pet-lovers. The event is free to the community.
All games and activities will have an animal theme, and the Florence-Lauderdale Animal Shelter will have pets available for adoption. Concessions and t-shirts will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the animal shelter.
Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome to attend (in costume, if they choose!). Dogs will be welcome to try the agility course and treat themselves to a puppuccino. Dr. Bingham from Florence Veterinary Hospital will be at the event to provide low-cost rabies vaccines as well as parvo/kennel cough vaccines.
