Howard Olen Wallace age 83 of Athens passed away Friday September 15, 2023 at Athens Limestone Hospital.
Mr. Wallace was born January 8, 1940 in Colbert County, Alabama, he was a United States Airforce Veteran and retired from the Alabama National Guard. Mr. Wallace was retired from the Limestone County Commission, and a member of Bethel church of Christ.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 pm at Spry Funeral Home, Athens.
Survivors include his Sons, Thomas Hamilton Wallace, Howard O’Neal Wallace and Charles Anthony Wallace all of Athens. Daughters, Myra Lee Collins of Athens and Ashley Lynn Wallace Brewer of New Market, Alabama. Step Sons, Brad Carter and Donnie Carter both of Athens. Stepdaughter, Luann Adams of Athens. Seven Grandchildren. Sixteen Great Grandchildren. Five Step Grandchildren and Two Step Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews .
Mr. Wallace was preceded in death by his Parents, Clarence and Miram Wallace. Wives, Sally Louise Wallace and Mary Ann Carter Wallace. Grandchildren, Harley Wallace and Crystalin Wallace. Great Granddaughter, Aaliyeah Harris.
