Howard Nolan Hames – Obituary

Howard Nolan Hames, 68, a native of Arkansas and a resident of Florence for the past forty years, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at his residence. He was a member of the Lighthouse of Jesus Christ, a 32nd Degree Mason, a chef at TVA, and a manager/designer of the Friendly Flower Shoppe.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Lighthouse Church with the funeral service beginning at 12 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Jeff Street. Burial will follow in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hames was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Hames; mother, Verne Vera Hames Hill; sister, Donna Faye Rand; brother, Arvis Hames.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Scott Hames; daughter, Sheri Louise Clark both of Ripley, Miss.; special friend, Bobby Adams of Florence and dog Pierre; special niece, Patricia Burbank of Florence; special nephew, Dwayne Goss of Iuka, Miss.; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Cesar Collado, Johnny Burbank, J.J. Burbank, Richard Goss and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Gentiva Hospice, especially Tracy, Kim, Sandy and Steve.
