MUSCLE SHOALS – It’s a well-known fact here in the “Hit Recording Capitol of The World” just keeps producing the best music anywhere. Seems like every year Muscle Shoals artists are on Grammy Awards. And the hits just keep rolling! Champy’s had a release party this past Friday for Howard “Guitar” Luedtke’s newest album, “Meet Me In Muscle Shoals”. It’s one of the finest Blues and Rock cover albums since his last one, “Goin’ Down To Alabama”. Howard returned to Muscle Shoals from his home in Wisconsin to reunited with his friends down here, among them Travis Wammack, Donnie and Jan Gullett, Deb Klossner (Howard’s wife and bass player) Wayne Chaney, Mike Dillon, Jim Whitehead and the “Leaning Man of The Shoals”, Donnie Fritts.
