Howard Leland Parrish , 90, of Florence, passed away March 1, 2016 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. He was a member of Bethel Berry Church of Christ, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Visitation will be Friday, March 4, 2016 from 10-12 Noon at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12 Noon in Greenview Memorial Park with Jerry Campbell officiating.
Mr. Parrish was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margie Parrish; brothers, Doyle, Dalton, and VL Parrish; sisters, Mary Ester Bevis, and Gertrude Ahonen.
He is survived by his wife, Elwanda McGee Parrish; son, Keith Parrish; daughter, Donna Wilson and husband Mike; grandchildren, Bridget Tucker, Jeremiah Parrish, and Taylor Wilson; great-grandchildren, Ellie and Katy Tucker.
Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Parrish, Taylor Wilson, Mike Wilson, Grady Stutts, Ray McGee, and Glenn McGee.
