Howard Glenn Hodge, age 71, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at his residence.
Glenn attended Belgreen High School and was always proud of his Belgreen education. He played all sports including golf, basketball, baseball, and bowling. He was always a supporter of the Belgreen basketball games and was a big fan of the San Francisco Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. Glenn worked as a car salesman for many years at Lynn Layton Ford. He was the type of man who didn’t sugar coat anything and would always give you his honest opinion. He was passionate about genealogy and his family lineage and took a lot of time finding out about his ancestors. His greatest joy in life was his two grandsons, Tate and Knox, who he loved deeply. He was always playing legos, watching movies, or attending their activities or whatever they wanted him to do. He leaves behind many good memories that his family will forever cherish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Sue (Fowler) Hodge.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 38 years, Ann Bendall Hodge; daughter, Jenni Miller (Chase); grandsons, Tate Miller, Knox Miller; brother, Michael “Pickle” Hodge (Laura); and several nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Bro. Terry Bendall and Bro. Andy Gasgue will officiate the service. The burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
The pallbearers will be David Miller, Jonathon Lindley, Donald Stephenson, Tim Aaron, Terry Bendall, Jr., and Chase Miller.
