Howard Earl Grindle, 82 of Arab passed away Wednesday, January 17 th , 2024.
He was born to Mac and Emma Grindle on December 28th , 1941 in Marshall County, Alabama
where he was also raised.
Howard is survived by his children Mary (Kevin) Stallings, Mark (Jennifer) Grindle, Linda (Ricky)
McClain, Sandra (Mark) Chapmon, Patricia (Chris) Andrews, grandchildren Elijah Stallings,
Annabeth Grindle, Adam McClain, Daniel (Kym) Larmon, Amy McClain, and Jessica (Matt)
Ward, brother Kenneth Grindle and many nieces and nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Ruby Grindle, parents Mac and Emma
Grindle, sisters Fannie Barns and Mattie Grindle, brothers Emmitt Grindle and Robert Grindle.
Visitation will be held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 24,
2024, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Howard will
be laid to rest at New Cannan Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Arab.
