Howard Charette, age 86, passed away June 29, 2016. A memorial service will be held at Grace House Church in Florence on Saturday, July 9, at 11 a.m. Brother Eddie Lawrence will officiate.
Howard was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion. He loved youth baseball and was a fixture at Gattman Park watching his favorite teams.
Howard is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann; children, Tracy Dworsky and Alexander Charette; and stepson, Michael Perez; grandchildren, Haley and Kelley Dworsky and Carley, Gabby and Michael Perez; and siblings, Mona Smith, Robert Charette, and Jo Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alexander Charette Educational Fund through Rocky Beck at Woodman Life Insurance Company.
