Horace Gene Elliott, 72, of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017, at his home in Ardmore, Tennessee. Born Sunday, June 4, 1944 in Ardmore, Alabama he was the son of Abby Lee Elliott and Audrey (Maudie) Elliott. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Andrew Steven Elliott.
His was a life-long resident of this area and was a member of the Ardmore First United Methodist Church. His hobbies included classic cars and parts, antiques and memorabilia.
Survivors include his wife, Claire Smith Elliott, Ardmore, TN; one daughter, Holly Elliott Calvert, Ardmore, TN; sister, Brenda Elliott (Bill) Morrow, Ardmore,TN; grandchildren, NIcholas Andrew Calvert, Brandon Lee Calvert and Alisha Calvert; great-grandchildren, Hayden Calvert and Paisley Calvert.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Ardmore United Methodist Church with Pastor Debbie Eubanks officiating. Please come and share your memories at this celebration.
