Mr. Horace Edward Tillman, age 88 of Whitesville Road, Boaz, Alabama died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at McRae Chapel, with Bro. Shannon Pullen and Bro. Chris Cornutt officiating, interment to follow in Forrest Home Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home of Boaz, Alabama is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11-1 at the funeral home.
Mr. Tillman was born in Alabama on July 18, 1925 to Burin Walker & Flora Miner Tillman. He was a farmer and a proud WWII Navy Veteran.
Mr. Tillman is survived by his Wife: Marilyn Tillman, Son & Daughter-in-Law: David & Lisa Tillman of Rainbow City, Daughter: Elizabeth Bartlett of South Carolina,Grandchildren: Chris Tillman, Amanda & Kenny Lyles and Kym Bartlett, Great Grandchildren: Zac Lee and Bradley Lee, Brother & Sister-in-Law: Lowell & Bett Tillman of Birmingham.
Pallbearers will be Chris Tillman, Ricky Cornutt, Jeff Cornutt, Steve Williams, Claude Stevens and Kevin Williams. Honorary will be Ernest Johnston, Basil Hollingsworth and Neal Tillman.
