Homer Steve Myrick, 70, of Florence, AL, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at NAMC. Steve was a retired carpenter for TVA Carpenters Local and a member of the Christian faith. Steve is survived by: Son: Shane Myrick of Florence, AL Daughter: Hope Champion (Chaney) of Florence, AL Grandchildren: Zach Peden, Summer Peters (Justin), and Stephanie Peden (Garret) (3) Great-grandchildren Sister: June Peters of Florence, AL He was preceded in death by: Parents: Homer Myrick and Elaine Bretherick Myrick Wife: Freda Gail Sledge Myrick Sister: Annette Hammond There will be a private graveside service for the family at a later date. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
