Holt takes Oath – New Mayor for Florence – Cream rises to the top

FLORENCE – Those who bet long-time Chamber of Commerce President ‘ was down for the count’, learned a thing or two these past few months. Steve Holt, who retired from the Chamber several months ago, today took the Oath of Office as Mayor of Florence, beating one-term Mayor, Mickey Haddock.

The auditorium at Florence City Hall was packed, as Holt addressed the audience with a message of great hope for new emphasis on economic growth and civic responsibility.
