Holly Leeann Wilkerson-Hunter was born on May 14, 1986 and left us far too soon on September 24, 2024 at age 38.

Holly Leeann Wilkerson was born in Lebanon TN to Shelia Ann Hire Wilkerson and Randall Wilkerson. Holly is survived by her son Willam Holden Hunter, mother Shelia Wright, sisters Heather (Daniel) Fowler and Kristie (Tommy) Thorne, nieces Shelby, Mason, and Mackenzie, father of son Will Hunter, and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Randall Wilkerson, sister Lori Baize, and grandparents Shirley and Prentice West.

Holly worked in the property management industry for more than 15 years before transitioning to the Tennessee Housing Authority. She was dedicated to her work, but her pride and joy was her son, Holden. Countless nights at Dave and Busters, or grabbing that late night ice cream cone, whatever he wanted, she made it happen. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, whether kayaking down the Caney, or attending a concert, she was down for any adventure. A wild and free spirit, blue eyed queen, and as she always said, Miss Independent. She wouldn’t want us to mourn her absence, but instead celebrate her life and memories left behind. Grief is the price we pay for love, and the love was worth every tear.

The Celebration of Life is Saturday, October 12, 2024, 2-5 p.m., at The Gentry Building at James E. Ward Ag Center. Please use the Tennessee Blvd entrance and The Gentry Building is beside the ballfields, light refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) or MHA (Mental Health America).

Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, 615.444.9393.
