Hollis Lee Coan, age 81, of Athens, AL passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016. A private graveside service will be held at Colbert Memorial Gardens. He was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church. He was a retired truck driver for Walmart.
Mr. Coan was preceded in death by parents, Rush and Dora Coan; wife, Margaret Coan, and brothers and sisters.
Survivors are son, Reece Coan and fiancé Kay Greeson of Russellville, AL; daughters, Winonia Lovell (Dwight) of Athens, AL, and Carmellia Newton (Vance) of Meridianville, AL; granddaughters, Lauren Little Baker, (Chris), Kara Coan, Maggie Coan, and Mallory Newton; special nephew, Mike Coan.
