Holliman Johnson Whitaker, 94, of Memphis, TN passed away Tuesday.
Holliman was a WW II veteran and served in the Army 6th Armor Division. He loved his children dearly.
He was preceded in death by father, Johnson Whitaker; mother, Elsie Whitaker; first wife Ernestine Whitaker and second wife Thelma Whitaker; daughter, Rita Whitaker; brothers, Quinn Whitaker and James Robert Whitaker; sister Mae Willa Mason.
Surviving are son John (Barbara) Thomas Whitaker; daughter Patsy Scrivner; stepdaughter Linda Deisher; stepson Nick Paige; granddaughter; brothers, Roy Whitaker, Billy Whitaker and Gene Whitaker; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Walker Cemetery, Monday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gary Paseur officiating.
Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery.
