Hodges Man Arrested On Drug Charges And Possession Of Explosive Device

HODGES-The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect who has numerous drugs levied against him as well as the FCO finding an explosive device in the raid on a residence on Church Street:
“After receiving numerous complaints regarding drug activity in Hodges, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Marion County Sheriff’s Office Deputies executed a search warrant on Church Street on April 03, 2024. Deputies seized multiple drugs including Methamphetamine, various pills, and a home-made explosion device.
Timothy Edward McCarley was arrested and charged with:
– Drug Trafficking
– Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
– Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd
– Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
– 3x Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Felon in Possession of an Explosion Device
McCarley has a long history of drug crimes including unlawful manufacturing and unlawful distribution of controlled substances and has spent years in prison. He is currently in the Franklin County Detention Center. A judge will set his bond at a later time.
He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
