HM McGee, 92, of Florence passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Mr. McGee was a native of Lauderdale County and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII. He was an electrician at Union Carbide and a member of Oakland Methodist Church and the American Legion. He was lifetime member of the masonic lodge #14 in Florence.
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth Lovelace McGee on October 4, 1986.
He is survived by his son, Harry Michael McGee; two grandchildren, Micah McGee and Katie McGee Williams (Clay); and one great-grandson, Carsen Lane Williams.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a church or charity of choice.
