Funeral service for Hillard Garnett, 90, of Falkville, will be Monday, June 12, 2017 at 3:30PM at Peck Funeral Home with Dr. Milan Dekich officiating. Burial will be at Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Garnett died June 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1926 in Morgan County to Frank B. Garnett and Minnie Lee McDaniel Garnett. Mr. Garnett was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Lee Garnett; five brothers, Alton Garnett, Ray Garnett, Walker Garnett, John Henry Garnett and Bud Garnett; and one sister, Betty Maxwell.
