Mrs. Hildrege Howard Swords, age 101 of Albertville, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Willis Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm till the time of service, burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her nieces Melissa Howard, Becky Howard, Glenda Langley, Erlene Hutchins, Beth Staton, Mary Hopper, and Rhonda Steely; her nephews Rod Howard, Bobby Howard, Doyle Howard, David Howard, Larry Howard, Johnny Howard, Chat Howard, and Ed Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents Woodie and Laura Howard; husband Wilburn Swords; sister Marzell Howard; brothers Gilford Howard, Travis Howard, Thermon Howard, Hamp Howard, and Woodie Howard Jr.
Pallbearers will include Rod Howard, Keith Beacham, Bobby Langley, Terry Howard, Tim Howard, and Jon Howard.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to The Alzheimer’s Association, Alabama Chapel #423, or Second Chance Shelter of Boaz, AL.
