Hilda Joan “Joannie” Ivey, age 67 of Carbon Hill, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
She was born October 10, 1956 to Floyd McKeever and Virgie Gilbert.
Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2023 at Carbon Hill Church of God from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m., where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Carbon Hill Cemetery. Brother Johnny Sims will officiate.
Joannie is survived by her son, Jason Dunlap; daughter, Mary Jane Berryhill and her husband Teb; sister, Jimmie Sue Sims and her husband Johnny; brother in law, Mike Tidwell; grandchildren, Brody Dunlap, Haley Dunlap, Sailor Berryhill, and Sadee Berryhill; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd McKeever and Virgie Gilbert; brothers, Franklin McGough and Steve McGough; and sister, Judy Tidwell.
