Hickey Genevieve McBride, 79, passed away in Nashville, TN on January 11, 2015. Ms. McBride was a native of Huntsville, AL but lived in Nashville most of her life. She was a retired employee of Minor Jewelry in Nashville.
Ms. McBride was a graduate of Huntsville High School and a receipient of the Arion Award for Music. She was a founding member of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. Ms. McBride was preceded in death by her parents, John C. and Eva McBride. She is survived by one brother, Norman L. McBride of Birmingham, AL and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a 2:30 p.m. graveside service at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family wishes to express appreciation to the Visiting Angels and Alive Hospice for their care and concern during her illness.
