Hester Lorean Holley, 83, resident of Ripley, passed away peacefully at Cornerstone Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Alcorn County on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Holley will be at 11 AM Monday, July 8 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM Monday, July 8, 2024, with burial in the Peoples Cemetery.

Mrs. Holley was born April 12, 1941, in the Spout Springs community and was the daughter of the late Willie and Ora May Motley Crum. She received her education from Falkner High School and was employed as a secretary for Ripley Parts and the Methodist Church in Counce, TN.

A Christian and member of the Methodist Church in Counce, TN, Mrs. Holley was faithful to her Lord, studied her bible often, and was a true believer in the power of prayer. Her favorite pastimes included shopping, caring for animals, and cooking for her family. She loved her little dog, Susie, and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her husband, “Buddy”. They were inseparable, loved each other more than anything, and found happiness in being with each other. Although we will miss her deeply, we find comfort in knowing the Goodness of God will always carry us, guide us, and be there for us through all trials in our life.

Memories will continue to be shared by one sister, Bobbie Presley (Tom), one brother, David P. Crum (Peggy), three nieces, Michelle, Maria and Robin, two nephews, Jason and John, and a host of cousins.

She was meet in Heaven by her beloved husband, Clinton Ray Holley.

Ripley Funeral Home invites you to share memories.
