Hershell Wayne Koger, age 87 of Brownsboro passed away Feb. 18, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Wynness T. Koger; daughter Sherri Taylor Baker; sons Odas Wayne Koger, and Hershell David Koger; honorary son Jimmy “Jimbo” McGucken; sixteen grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Koger was a native of Riverdale, IL, and a resident of Madison County for over 63 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of WInchester Road Baptist Church.
Visitation is Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.with the funeral service at 11:30 officiated by Rev. Hal Howard. Burial will follow at Trenton Cemetery.
