Hershel George Dill, Jr., known as J.R., age 55, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was a lifelong diesel mechanic who worked for many years at Cedar Bluff Oil Company.
He is survived by his wife Christy Dill; mother Janice Wolford; children Colton Dill (Courtney), Jameson Dill (Emma), Jacob Dill, and Alec Dill; step-children Paige Boland and Jordan Boland; sister Patricia Lusk (Edward); grandchildren Zakk, Challen, Chloe, and Braxton; and nieces and nephews Charles, Daphne, Justina, Rowdy, Matti, Cole, and Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his father Hershel George Dill, Sr.
Memorial services will be held at a later time.
