Funeral service for Hershel F. Franklin, 83, will be Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Flint Church of Christ with Bro. Chris Pressnell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville, AL at 4:30PM on Friday. Visitation will be Friday, August 30, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Flint Church of Christ.
Mr. Franklin died on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born March 10, 1941, in Lauderdale County, to Deward Hershel Franklin and Mary Virginia Weston Franklin.
He was employed by Stone and Webster, as an Engineer, prior to his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the Flint Church of Christ, where he was a Sunday School teacher and a Deacon.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister: Gail Franklin.
