Mr. Herman Stapler, 57, of Swearengin, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020. He was a member of Oak Grove Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Holiness Church with Bro. Nicky Willmon, Bro. Shirley Byrum, and Bro. Alton Willmon officiating. He will lie in state from 11:00 am until time of service. Burial will follow at Gunter Mountain Memory Garden. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Scottsboro Funeral Home and then on Saturday, August 15, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
*For those who would like to attend the service but have health concerns, the services will be broadcast on Sunday. You may sit in your vehicles at the church and tune your radio to FM 87.9 to hear the service.*
Mr. Stapler is survived by his wife, Ethel Stapler; sons, Jonathon (Anna) Stapler and Colton (Jacey) Stapler; grandchildren, Dalton Stapler, Tenley Stapler, Emmett Stapler, Rebecca Stapler, Hadleigh Stapler, and Henzleigh Stapler; sisters, Darlene Benson and Rose Baugh; brothers, Anthony (Angie) Stapler and Gary Stapler; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Bonnie Stapler.
