Herman Foster of Ramer, TNHerman Foster was born September 4, 1937 in Bethel Springs, TN, the son of the late John Henry and Florida B. Whitten Foster. He departed this life on August 16, 2019 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 11 Months, 12 Days.

Herman graduated Selmer High School in 1957. He served our country in the U.S. Army as a part of the military police. He served as a Deacon at East Union Baptist Church in Jackson, TN for many years. Herman was a member of the Falcon Baptist Church in Selmer, TN. He was united in marriage to Dale Lambert Rowsey on January 24, 2008. He spent most of his life distributing produce and was doing so until the day before he passed away. Herman also enjoyed spending time with family and the many friends he cared about.

He is survived by his wife, Dale Foster; siblings: Von Foster and wife Ruby, John Foster and wife Sheilla, Patsy McCormick and husband J.D., Kathy Poole and husband Walter, Lola Mae Ada and husband Wayne, Lisa Sheaffer and husband Brad; step children: Angie Whitten and husband Barry, Paula McAfee and husband Scott, Eddie Rowsey and wife Anita; and a host of step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye C. Foster; two sisters, Joyce Whitehead and Quinn Congiardo; two brothers, Ernest Leon and Gene Foster.
