A Celebration of Life service for Herman and Martha “Mot” Clark of Iuka, MS will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1:30 P M at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church , 152 County Road 265, Burnsville, MS 38833. Bro. Ricky Taylor and Bro. Garland Broadway will officiate the service. It is open for all to come and celebrate the life of Mr. and Mrs. Clark.
On the morning of November 15, 2021 The Good Lord came and got Mot and while he was at it he took Herman also. Mot was born October 28, 1942 and Herman was born December 24,1942. Herman worked many years as yard manager for Westvaco Corp. and Mot was a beautician in Cairo. She and her sister had Cairo Cut and Curl.
They are preceded in death by their son, Dwight Clark, Herman’s brother, Kent Clark and his parents, Harvey Clark and Shirley “Black,” Clark. Mot is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar DePoyster and Georgia “Weathers,” DePoyster. They are survived by their son, Chris Clark (Amanda) of Iuka, MS; their grandchildren, Shawn Clark of Redwood City, CA, Brianna Sparks (Scott) of Tupelo, MS and Cayden Clark of Iuka, MS; their great grandchildren, Salem and Magnolia Sparks of Tupelo, MS; Herman’s sisters, Paulette Howell (Tommy) of Iuka, MS and Runelda Lambert (Stephen) of Paden, MS; Mot’s sisters, Diane Floyd and Barbara “Snooks,” Belue (Bobby) both of Cairo, MS; other relatives and a host of friends.
