Herbert L. Bonds, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on September 9, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center – Iuka. At a young age, Mr. Bonds began attending First Missionary Baptist church and stayed within the Baptist religion throughout his entire life. He was a member of the Masons. Mr. Bonds was an amazing cook and a car enthusiast. After retirement, he liked to spend his days fishing or listening to music. Most of all however, he loved being able to get together with his family. Mr. Bonds is survived by his daughters, Lisa Jackson (Joseph), Pam Bonds, and Carol Walton; his sons, Dahndray Bonds, Herbert Bonds (Toundra), Corey Bonds, Zachery Bonds, and Deval Sanders (Sondra); his siblings, Minnie Granillo, Teresa Prickett, Paul Ray, and Mike Nelson (Julia); his 21 grandchildren; his good friend, Kenneth Carter; and several other great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Ray; his step-son, Charlie Sanders; and his sibling, Delores Ray. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements.
