Mr. Herbert “Herb” Shockey, age 71, passed away surrounded by his family and loved ones on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. They have honored his wishes for cremation, and the family will schedule a memorial service at a later date. Herb was born on May 23, 1950 in Peoria, IL to Kenneth and Isabel Shockey. He worked for 15 years for the Haywood Company. He loved his family dearly and also loved his pets. He will be greatly missed by them all. He was married for 20 years to his wife, Jesika Shockey, who survives. He is also survived by his mother, Isabel Shockey in Illinois; three sons Deavon Shockey of Brownsville, TN, Brian Frantz of Monroe City, MO, Ronnie Frantz (Karen) of Hannibal, MO; two daughters, Dikota Shockey of Brownsville, TN, Ammie Button (Rich) of Estero, FL; two brothers, Tony Shockey, David Shockey (Brenda) both of Illinois, and four grandchildren, as well as his beloved pets. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
